1/1/2009 SAFE SANCTUARY POLICY
Snyder's Church, in compliance with United Methodist policies, has passed the Snyder's Church Safe Sanctuary Policy. Our children are our greatest asset. They must be protected. This policy will be enforced to protect our children and ourselves. The main elements to remember for thi policy are the following : * At least two non-related adults supervising children- related activities *All adults in contact with children must have background checks completed *All background checks will be confidential and locked in a secure area *Only a few church individuals will have access to these background checks *background checks will be funded by the church There is nothing to fear from this policy. The intent of this policy is to protect our children. Look for educational seminars to be held in the 2008 calendar year
